We’re looking for an experienced, motivated Staff Technical Program Manager to oversee high visibility programs for our team and streamline our processes for building great customer products. As our products scale in complexity to meet our accelerating business and expanding product lines, our program management practices need to scale with it. You will help our software engineering teams develop processes and frameworks, while evaluating new technology developments to drive potential features and products.
What You’ll Do:
- Drive complex, multi-disciplinary, and highly visible technical programs in service of our team’s mission of expanding our consumer product suite and platform capabilities
- Coordinate across engineering teams and non-engineering stakeholders through the full program lifecycle to plan requirements, identify risks, manage program schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company
- Understand technical implementation at the architecture level and propose technical alternatives, ask questions that clarify priorities and push the team to be effective, and develop domain and technical knowledge
- Partner with Product and Engineering to plan requirements, identify risks, manage program schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company
- Track progress, resolve dependencies, evaluate risks, and communicate status to upper management and program stakeholders, and engage the program teams to achieve goals
What We Look For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of proven experience managing technical programs.
- Passion and drive to change healthcare navigation for the better.
- Organized and strategic approach to collaborating across multi-disciplinary teams.
- Obsesses over getting the details right but knows how to ship on time.
- Working and driving strategic programs and building a remote friendly culture.
- Actively mentors and levels up team members.
- Track record of successfully driving complex large technology applications and geographically distributed backend systems.
- Track record of strong stakeholder management with Engineering, Product, Design, Analytics, and other cross-functional teams.
- Prior experience in HealthTech, Commerce or Healthcare is a plus.

Employees new to GroPatients™ typically come in at the start of the pay range. GroPatients™ focuses on providing a simple and transparent pay structure which is based on a variety of factors, including location, experience and job-related skills. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings (“OTE”) range, which includes the annual base pay and the sales incentive target.
Base pay is part of a total compensation package that may include monthly stipends for health, wellness and tech spending, and benefits (including 100% subsidized medical coverage, dental and vision for you and your dependents).
US On Target Earnings per year: $83,150 – $96,750

Employees in proximal roles have the flexibility to work remotely, but will occasionally be required to work out of their assigned GroPatients™ office.
